About the Job

The Sustainability Initiatives Reporting Student Assistant will work with the Coordinator to develop the office’s Key Performance Indicator (KPI) tracking and reporting capacity. This will include tracking student, faculty and staff engagement in sustainable behavior, campus greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, and academic sustainability activity.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Provide support for the data collection and submission of the Associations for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education’s (AASHE) Sustainability Tracking, Assessment and Rating System (STARS).
  • Track various KPI’s within the seven strategic focus areas of the office (Academics & Engagement, Buildings & Energy, Food & Livability, Land & Wate, Transportation, and Waste) as directed by the Coordinator.
  • Assist the Coordinator with the data collection and submission of a campus GHG inventory as required by the Second Nature Climate Leadership Commitment.
  • Assist the Coordinator with sustainability knowledge and behavior surveys among students, faculty, and staff.

Required Skills
